Accessibility statement

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Draft: this document is being reviewed by our solicitor and may change before launch.

1. Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use Fenquist: the website, the app, and the invoice and payment pages your clients see. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most UK organisations work to.

2. What you should be able to do

  • Use every page with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the content
  • Use a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or NVDA, with labelled buttons, form fields and tables
  • Zoom text to 200% and use the site on a phone screen without scrolling sideways
  • Read text with enough contrast against its background
  • Switch off animation: we follow your device's "reduce motion" setting
  • Get error messages that say what went wrong and how to fix it, not only a red outline

3. What we know isn't perfect yet

  • Invoice and quote PDFs are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. The same details are always on the online invoice page, which is.
  • Some charts (cash flow and the tax estimate) show figures as pictures. The numbers are also in the table or list next to each chart.
  • Pages from other companies we link to, such as Stripe's card payment page, follow their own accessibility standards.

We're working on the PDFs first.

4. How we check

We test new pages with a keyboard, a screen reader, automated checks and on phone-sized screens before they go live. Fenquist has not yet had an independent accessibility audit; we plan one as the product grows, and will update this page with the results.

5. Tell us about a problem

If something is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email hello@fenquist.com with "Accessibility" in the subject, or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what happened. A person will reply within two working days.
