Record a payment you received another way
Mark an invoice paid when the client paid by bank transfer, cash or cheque.
- Open the invoice and choose Record payment.
- Enter the amount, date and how they paid.
- Save. Part payments are fine: the invoice shows what's still owed.
Tip: New, then Record a payment shows your open invoices so you can pick the one that was paid.
