Log business mileage

Claim journeys in your own vehicle at HMRC's approved rates.

  1. Go to Mileage, or choose New then Log a journey.
  2. Add where from and to, why you went and the distance, and tick Return journey if you came back.
  3. The claim is worked out at HMRC's rates for the tax year.

Mileage replaces claiming fuel and running costs for that vehicle. Keep logging each business journey; HMRC asks for the reason for each one.
