Reports: cash flow, Self Assessment boxes, profit and loss, VAT

The figures for your tax return, your profit, who owes you and your VAT, from your records.

Go to Reports. Each one can be downloaded as a spreadsheet (CSV).

  • Cash flow: money expected in and out over the next 30, 90 or 180 days, week by week. Invoices are expected when each client usually pays, recurring invoices after their terms, plus your regular costs and tax payments. Add what's in the bank for a running balance.
  • Self Assessment: totals for each box on the self-employment pages (SA103S) for a tax year, ready to copy into your online return.
  • Profit and loss: money in and out for any period, by category and by month.
  • Owed to you: what each client owes, grouped by how late it is.
  • VAT: the main VAT return boxes for a period, on the invoice or cash basis (for VAT-registered businesses).

They use the cash basis and only what's recorded in Fenquist. They're there to check against and to help you or your accountant; Fenquist doesn't file them.
