How Fenquist estimates what to set aside, and what it doesn't include.
The Tax page estimates your Income Tax and National Insurance (or Corporation Tax for a limited company) from your income and expenses so far, using HMRC's published rates. It shows how much to set aside and your upcoming deadlines.
It's an estimate to help you plan, not a tax return or tax advice. It doesn't know about income from elsewhere, such as a salary or savings, unless you add it. Check with HMRC guidance or an accountant before you file.
