Getting paid as a personal trainer

  • Sell packs paid in advance: clients commit, and you're not chasing for every session.
  • Say how long a pack is valid and what happens with late cancellations.
  • Payment links work well here: send one by WhatsApp and get paid before the first session.

Every UK invoice also needs a unique number, the date, your name and address, your client's details, what you supplied and the amount due. More on what an invoice must show.

Should I invoice per session or per pack?

Packs reduce admin and no-shows. Invoice single sessions only for occasional or trial clients.

Can I take card payments without a card machine?

Yes. Send a payment link and the client pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on their phone.

Is this personal trainer invoice template free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Fill it in, download the PDF and send it. Nothing you type is uploaded.
