Check before sending

When you issue an invoice, Fenquist looks it over first and points out anything that looks off.

Each time you issue an invoice, a quick check runs first. It looks for:

  • Missing details: your business address, the client's address, and a way to pay (bank details or online payments).
  • Dates that don't add up, such as a due date that has already passed.
  • A likely duplicate: another invoice for the same client and amount within about six weeks.
  • An amount far above or below what that client usually pays, which often means a mistyped quantity or price.
  • VAT pointers, for example no VAT on any line when you're registered, or VAT charged to a client abroad.
  • Typos and unclear wording in the lines, when AI is switched on.

If something comes up you can open the setting or record it links to, use a suggested correction, or issue anyway. Nothing is ever blocked.

Tip: The checks can miss things, and the VAT notes are general pointers rather than advice. The invoice is still yours to check.
