Drafts, issuing and invoice numbers

A draft can be changed freely and has no invoice number. When you issue it, it gets the next number in your sequence (for example INV-0007), so your numbers never have gaps.

Once issued, an invoice is locked so your records match what the client received. To change it, add a credit note or void it and issue a new one.

Choose Issue and email to send it straight away, or Issue without emailing if you'll send the PDF yourself.
