Getting paid as a dj

  • Write the event date and set times on the invoice; it's the booking confirmation too.
  • Agree an overtime rate in advance and invoice any extra hours afterwards.
  • Equipment hire is a separate line clients understand.

Every UK invoice also needs a unique number, the date, your name and address, your client's details, what you supplied and the amount due. More on what an invoice must show.

Do I need a deposit?

For private events, a deposit on booking is standard. Clubs and venues usually pay after the night on 7 to 30 day terms.

Can clients pay by card?

Yes. Send a payment link with the invoice and they pay by card or bank in a tap.

Is this dj invoice template free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Fill it in, download the PDF and send it. Nothing you type is uploaded.
